In 2015, when the harvest began at the Zhdanovichi agricultural complex, traditional gatherings took place in a grain field near the village of Gorodishche. Welcoming all participants, General Director of the agricultural complex Grigory Chuiko noted that the festive event was taking place in a historical place. 

This is where the current Minsk began to be built. And much later, the distant ancestors of the capital’s residents moved to the banks of the Nemiga. The head of the agricultural enterprise also emphasized that there has never been a case where the harvest here did not go as planned. On the contrary, every year machine operators and drivers are increasingly honing their professional skills, achieving record results in the grain field. 

For example, many in the capital region are well aware of the name of our combine operator Mikhail Saladukha. On my “Lexicon-770” in just one season he was able to thresh over five thousand tons of grain, setting an absolute record in the central region of the country. 

However, the rhythm of the harvest promises to be intense: there are 5,631 hectares of crops to be mowed and threshed. Grigory Chuiko expressed confidence that the current harvest at the agricultural enterprise will be as worthy as all previous ones. He wished the participants in the harvesting campaign success in their work and called on the relatives of the grain growers to support them in this difficult task. 

By the way, the combine operators have already run in their “steppe ships”. The day before, they began harvesting rapeseed, which, like cereals, promises to please farmers with high harvests. 

— In everyday life, we made sure that machine operators and drivers did not feel lack of anything, — noted the chairman of the trade union committee of the farm, Tatyana Trogan.— And if a person is happy with everything, then he works well.

The dinners that took place were also imbued with genuine concern for people. Artists of the creative group “Shchomyslyanka” performed a concert for the audience. On the start of the harvesting campaign, its participants were cordially congratulated by the rector of one of the local churches — Father Alexander and sprinkled holy water on the cleaning equipment.
